COVID-19 Impacts, Opinions and Expectations

Banff has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in different ways than other communities, due to the impact on visitation and the economy. The municipal government and many organizations have provided supports to the community and actions to improve safety. For example, the downtown blocks of Banff Avenue were closed to vehicle traffic to provide additional space for pedestrians to practice physical distancing while providing more outdoor space for businesses to serve customers safely. We would like your opinions and observations about activities, experiences and Town policies.

The information you provide is collected by the Town of Banff under the authority of Section 33(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act. Collected personal information is protected from unauthorized access, collection, use, and disclosure in accordance with the FOIP Act.

The information you provide will be used only for the purpose of assisting with policy decisions safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Comments and aggregate data from the survey may be used in a public council report, but individual personal information will not be shared. Any personal information will be kept confidential.
