The Town of Banff manages the bus lot east of the Mount Royal Hotel, accessed from Beaver Street and the alleyway.

This survey of commercial bus and shuttle operators follows up on a survey in August 2025. Questions in this survey are expanded using feedback from the previous survey.

Since August 2025, changes to the lot include repainting the parking lanes, adding "No Idling" signage, enhancing monitoring and enforcement, adding seating for customers, and continuing the pilot to limit the lot to 15-minute loading/unloading.

The Town is continuing to assess the use of the lot and is exploring ways to improve the experience for customers and operators. Feedback gathered in 2026 will be presented to Banff Town Council as part of future considerations for this Mount Royal Public Bus Lot.

This 2026 operator survey will be open until mid-October.
