The Town of Banff is seeking feedback from residents about recreation opportunities provided by the municipality.
We want to learn about what you like, don’t like, or would like to see offered by the Town in the future. The Town of Banff’s Community Services recreation staff and contractors deliver year-round recreation programs, sessions and events that respond to the goals set in Canada’s Framework for Recreation. These goals include Active Living, Inclusion & Access, Connecting People & Nature, Supportive Environments & Recreation Capacity. Programs and events offered for residents of many ages by recreation includes:
Drop-in sport, fitness and leisure sessions at The Fenlands and Banff Elementary School.
Afterschool & summer programs like Into the Wild, Rise & Shine, The Basement and Get Out.
Registered programs like Try-its, first aid, painting, dance, lacrosse, canoeing, ice climbing, hiking and more.
BanffLIFE registered and drop-in physical, educational and social programs for Banff residents aged 18 – 30.
Community events like Home Grown Art Show, Parks and Recreation Day, Mountain Madness and more.
