What We Heard Report
Findings from Phase 1 and 2 were presented to council in a final What We Heard Report.
Phase 3 Public Information Sessions

Phase 3: Focus Group Meetings
Following the February and March public engagement sessions, three focus group meetings were held on May 20 and 21, 2025, to gather additional feedback on updated designs.
Fenlands Future Project Briefing
Briefing to the Governance and Finance committee with an update on the Fenlands Future Project to summarize the work completed thus far, including the Fenlands Future Design Summary.
Phase 3: Public Information Session
Open House on September 24, 3 – 7 p.m., at Town Hall for information on how public input has shaped the next phase of the Fenlands Recreation Centre.
The design has been shaped by key priorities set through community engagement, which include: an expanded fitness area, community arts and culture spaces, new all-gender washrooms, reconfigured team rooms, indoor bouldering, improved entrance experience and concession services, meeting and classroom spaces, and a revitalized curling lounge.
